Round Nosag Springs for Strong and Comfortable Seat Support

Nosag springs — also known as zigzag springs or S-springs — are among the most reliable support systems used in modern seating furniture. The round variant is especially suitable when a slightly more flexible and evenly distributed spring action is desired. Perfect for building or restoring seat constructions in chairs, sofas and armchairs.

We supply ready-made or custom-cut round nosag springs in 3.8 mm thickness, 4.5 cm width, and up to 16 coils (approx. 64 cm length). If the exact size you need is not listed, always choose the closest smaller length.

How to determine the correct length

Measure the distance between the rails where the spring will be installed. Round nosag springs are mounted almost flat and achieve their natural resilience during use. Remember: the number of coils from an old spring is not decisive — the measured length in centimeters is what matters.

What is a coil?

A “coil” is one curved segment of the spring. While the coil count influences the overall length, the actual measured length is always the primary factor for selecting the correct nosag spring.

Important notes

Mounting hardware such as clips or tube hooks is not included, as requirements vary per furniture design. These can be ordered separately. New bottom cloth is also available as an add-on.
