Nosag springs, also known as serpentine or zigzag springs, are arguably one of the most widely used and reliable spring systems in modern upholstered furniture. This slightly curved variant offers exactly the right combination of sturdiness and comfort, making them ideal for seating constructions in chairs, sofas, and armchairs.

We supply ready-made or custom-cut nosag springs that are 3.8 mm thick, 4.5 cm wide, and with a maximum of 16 coils (approx. 64 cm long). If your required length does not exactly match one of the options, always choose the nearest smaller size.

How do you determine the correct size?

Measure the distance between the two rails to which the spring will be attached. The spring will be stretched almost flat, with the slight curve facing upwards. The number of coils on an old spring is not the determining factor here — the centimeter measurement is the most important.
